Start a club

A friend showing you it's possible changes everything. If you don't have one, become one.

I did this twice: vaqcoders in high school, and ACM at CSUF.

A rough recipe

1. Find one or two people who are curious. That's enough.
2. Pick a regular time and a place, even a classroom at lunch.
3. Ask a teacher or advisor to sponsor you.
4. Build something small together every meeting.
5. Put your work on a shared website so newcomers see it.
